Parvana’s special red shalwar kameez is important to her because it was an Eid gift from her Aunt Mazar-e-Sharif. It had an intricate embroidery design from Nothern Afganistan and

Parvana has not seen it for a long time. Now her mom wants to get rid of it. Innsted of wearing that red shalwar kameez she has to wear a cap that belonged to her brother.

I think Parvana's red shalwar kameez was important to Parvana because it was an Eid present from her aunt. I think it symbolizes her life before the war and before the taliban took over Afghanistan.

Parvana's red salwar- kameez is crucial and important to her because it's the only unique and special clothing they did not sell. It gives Parvana memories of the times before the Taliban had taken over and all the parties and fun she had before the Taliban. It's a gift that her aunt gave her for Eid so it's a memory of her aunt and all the parties she has been to in the past. That's why she did not want anyone to take it away from her.

Parvana's Shalwar Kameez is very important to her because it is a gift from her aunt mentioned in the book. I think it might symbolize the hope that the Taliban will lose and they could survive. It also tells them to stay strong to fight back and not just to stand there when the Taliban Is here or near them.

Parvana's shalwar kameez was important to her because she used it for parties. In chapter two, Parvana's dad had to sell her shalwar kameez for money and if I was in Parvana's shoes I would be really upset. Parvana's shalwar kameez was also important to her because it was one of the few things she had left from her life before the taliban.
